Project Smiling Gecko: in collaboration with Fundaziun Uccelin

Through the cooperation of the Uccelin Foundation (www.uccelin.com) and the association Smiling Gecko (www.smilinggecko.ch) Uccelin graduates – following their 20 weeks advanced training program – have the opportunity to travel to Cambodia for a further 4 to 8 weeks. As part of project Farmhouse they support the local teams in the hotel kitchen, in the provision of services and in the large canteen of the education center as mentors and teachers. They provide basic knowledge in gastronomy and relevant administrative tasks.

The Thomas Abegg Foundation supports this project financially, because this project represents a typical win-win situation in the form of mutual learning and knowledge transfer.
